A sincere and heartfelt Thank You…

This has been the most amazing week for me. And I owe it to ALL of you!

Since launching my new and improved clinic as ellephysio on June 9, I am so touched by the wonderful words of congratulations and encouragement that I have received from friends, family, and total strangers in my social media community. I also learned on that day that I won the great honour of being named The Oakville Today Newspaper’s Best Physiotherapist! I was so overwhelmed with good vibes and big smiles.

The idea to foster elephants from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust came to me in my last launch meeting with the Kitestring Creative Branding Studio team. The fit seemed natural, and I had already fostered an elephant, Naipoki, from them earlier in the year. I’ve always had a soft spot for elephants…and tree frogs…and dachshunds… The team at Kitestring came up with the rest, including the oh-so-cute elle-o-meter!

In one short week, ellephysio’s Facebook page has welcomed over 200 new followers and fostered 4 elephants! Our baby orphan elephants are Shukuru, Kainuk, Sities and Ishanga, all from DSWT. You can read their orphan profiles on ellephysio’s Facebook page or on the DSWT website, where you can also foster an orphaned elephant or rhino yourself. We would love to continue our fostering efforts in the future, perhaps in celebration of future milestones (can you say, 1000 Followers?!?!).

In the meantime, ellephysio will make their best effort to keep you informed with any news we might receive on our small elephant family. DSWT sends monthly reports and excerpts from the Keeper’s Diary to us every month.

So thank you. Each and every one of you. Your continued support and sharing is a large driving force behind ellephysio.
